I started DME to help South-Asian artists produce, and promote independent (non-film) and music video content for web-based application to the Desi community worldwide. Also, to preserve indigenous music from the South-Asian diaspora and represent our community for recognition in the Grammys. However, post-pandemic, I realized through the process of creating DME that I was neglecting my own music and art. Therefore, moving forward I have decided to be more selective on the projects I accept.
